This is my first attempt at attempting to capture the feel of Island Living in Galveston. Jean Lafitte (the figure to the left) is a historical residence of Galveston and what more could represent brewing beer and island living than a pirate?The oatmeal stout label is the first label for what is considered the finest all grain brew we make.Enjoy and happy brewing.

The next evolution in your mead making will be adding fruit to make melomels. Melomels generally ferment faster and require less aging.
